Dear friends who love to Waltz,

Mark your calendars for 5.00 pm, Sunday, August 20, 2023. We are organizing our ninth annual Flash Waltz in the lovely Portland Peninsula Park Rose Garden. This fun, community event is free and open to everyone who would like to dance and enjoy the ambiance of shady grass lanes surrounded by roses and beautiful music. Join The Peninsula Park Rose Garden Waltz Band for this one-of-a-kind community event.

Here are the details:

The one hour or so Flash Waltz will be in the Northwest corner of The Portland Peninsula Park Rose Garden, near the rose garden entrance across the street from 6103 N. Albina Ave on Sunday, August 20 promptly at 5:00 pm. 

Musicians:

Try to find a parking spot and be setting up in the garden at 4:15pm. Bring a chair, music stand, and clips to hold your sheet music in the wind.

Here is the playlist. The order will be Give Me Your Hand, My Cape Breton Home, etc., ending with Ashokan Farewell.
